JARGONYMS

The CIWM website www.ciwm.co.uk now has a page of acronyms and jargon from the waste and resource management industry. It is by no means exhaustive and will only prove useful to us all if we all contribute. If you have any new acronyms, terms of phrase or jargon you would like added please email technical@ciwm.co.uk . Conversely if you know that an organisation ceases to exist and its acronym needs to be deleted we should also like to know. Your suggestions will be considered and if appropriate will be dealt with. Thank you in anticipation ‘Get your thinking caps on’.
