TRANSFRONTIER SHIPMENT AND UK IMPORT AND EXPORT OF WASTES
Following changes to the EC Waste Shipments Regulations, Defra has issued a consultation paper reviewing the UK Transfrontier Shipment of Regulations and Management plan for exports and imports of wastes. The UK export and import plan proposes to remove the outright ban on export for disposal in limited circumstances and retains the existing requirements on imports.
