STANDARD RULES PERMIT CONSULTATION
Under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (for England and Wales) set to come into force in April 2008, those operating 'low and medium risk' waste management operations will be able to apply for a standard permit. The permit will state that the operation must meet set conditions as laid out in the standard rules. This consultation sets out those conditions and guidance that may apply for 28 different waste operations.
