LACK OF LOCAL FACILITIES HAMPERS RECYCLING
A new Environment Agency Wales survey shows type and amount of waste from construction and demolition firms in Wales during 2005-06. Environment Agency
Wales has carried out a survey of 228 demolition, construction, civil engineering and refurbishment companies in Wales on the amount and type of waste produced by
their activities. The findings of the survey will help all companies in this sector find out
more about the waste they produce. Companies can then use this information to
prevent unnecessary waste to reuse/recycle more and so save money.
